Day out: Blue Mini Peninsula Tour
This past Saturday myself and some work friends decided to go on those red buses one always see in the Mother City (Cape Town). And now that we have experienced it personally we can all classify it as a 'must so'.
We booked tickets on the day at the ticket office which is located close to the aquarium in the V & A Waterfront in Cape Town. A full days tickets for a single adult costs R170. Each ticket holder is allowed to get off at any of the 15 stops and take any other bus to ot from the next destination. Stops included on the Blue Mini Peninsula Tour are Kirstenbosch, Mariner's Wharf, President Hotel, Winchester Mansion Hotel to name but a few.
Us ladies, decided to get off at Houtbay and enjoy the ocean and have lunch (fish and chips of course- which was rather disappointing due to oily fish and chips). But not even that could spoil the amazing day we had.
We ended off our day with ice cream and cheery goodbyes.
