New Makeup Trend: Micro Eye Dots
Lately, I've noticed that some ladies have been doing micro dots/single small eye dots, right under their bottom eyelash. And you might ask, how does that look? well if you do it properly its actually not that bad looking at all!
Micro Dots makes your eyes seem bigger and fuller, but not in a weird way, in more of a subtle way if done correctly!
Today I did micro eye dots on myself and it actually came out really nice!!! eeek! I know!! (**,)
Fancy giving it a try, here`s a few pointers on how to go about getting your micro dots on ;-)
-Firstly, don't overdo your makeup where or near the dots. This means no heavy eyeliner inside your eye rim as you want the dots to seem more dramatic on its own
-Apply your dot last when it comes to your makeup routine. If smudging occurs, it could be removed easily and redone in one dash.
-Remember, to cover up and use your concealer in the area of the dot too, this would allow the dots to stay in place longer and appear more brighter.
-Use liquid/gel eyeliner instead of a pencil and try one with a narrow tip for precision. Use the tip of the eyeliner pen and twist it to get a more precise dot. The strong black pigment of the liquid/gel eyeliner will leave your dots brighter than one of a pencil.
-Try applying your dots right under each one of your pupils and remember its better to do this whilst standing looking into a mirror. Also, remember you don't want it to appear too low down beneath your eyelash so no lower than 4mm from the lash line.
