Lifestyle: Happy Africa Day 2017!

Happy Africa Day to all Africans and also to my fellow South Africans.  What does African Day mean you might ask? Africa day in a modern age, means when people from different countries come together to celebrate through dance, foods and share and live out different cultures. 

For kids born to African parents who live in non-African countries its especially important to learn about African cultures, food and dance. In this way the children will be made aware of the diversity within the African content.  It is important for Africans to embrace and be open to unity within the African countries and not explore xenophobia as some African countries have done a few years ago.

I say Viva Africans Viva! May we as Africans go from strength to strength and may we learn to love and accept one another for who and what we are! ❤
