My Winter Skincare Routine

About two weeks ago while on a quick lunchbreak a lady asked me what I have on my face,my reply then~ `BB cream`. But then every evening after I have cleansed my skin I find myself wanting to answer that lady again. This time I would tell her how obsessed I am with my skin how I go the extra mile to ensure I take good care of my skin and even stick to a routine when it comes to winter more so than summer. So ill give you all a quick idea of the products I use in winter on my skin and why.

To start, I have an oily T~zone which becomes so dry in winter its like a dessert. My lips crack my hands are dry even my legs suffer. So moistrising is very important to me when it comes to winter and my skin. Please note: no products in this post have been sponsored by Avon as I have purchased all 4 products myself.

I start out by cleansing my skin. Always use a suitble face wash and never use soap unless the soap indicates that it can be used on body and face. I use skincare products from Avon as it works for me. If Avon products are not suitable for your skin, test and try other brands and start at your problem areas, like whether you have oily or dry skin. Or undereye circles, pigmentation, wrinkles?

  • I use the Solutions Hydra Beyond eye cream under and above my eyes to moisten that sensitive area. Remember to dab/pat in eye cream and dont rub it causes lines!
  • Then in and around my face both morning and night, a few dots of the 8 in 1 Ageless Results advanced lotion and serum which helps with pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, brighten skin, improve texture and also elasticity.
  • Hereafter, I finish off my routine by using my day or night cream depending of cause on if its morning or evening. The night cream hydrates my skin overnight. Remember, to also use day and or night cream on your ears and neck as it forms part of your face. Day and Night cream are from Avon solutions Hydra Radiance. Day cream comes with an SPF15. Always use a day cream with an SPF as harmful UV rays also occur in winter.
