Review: Frey Chocolates SA -78% Dark Chocolate

Whilst at my local Checkers store, I found myself in the chocolate Isle and ogling all kinds of chocolates 🍫😁, which just made want to get all of them.  But, my common sense kicked in and I opted for Dark Chocolate which if you didn't know is very good for all of us, as it has all kinds of health benefits to it.  If you find yourself purchasing Dark Chocolate the Darker the better. The one I got was 78% Dark.  Size: 100g. The dark chocolate brand I purchased is relatively new to me, however I must say, I enjoyed the chocolate and the quality is really good which doesn't come as a surprise to me, as Frey Chocolate was founded in 1887 by brothers Robert and Max Frey.  For more than 130 years their passion has lived in every one of the Frey products.  Products initially started from chocolate bars and chocolate powder, and today stretches across a very versatile creation of the highest sophistication.  Frey Chocolate is the Number 1 chocolate in the Swiss Retail Sector, so they really know a thing or two when it comes to taste.

*Please note: this is not a sponsored post and I have in no way been sent any of the below product(s).

Now to get to why you should be eating dark chocolate.  Below are some health benefits of dark chocolate, compared to processed chocolate which is not dark.

-Slows signs of aging
-Lowers the blood pressure
-Helps control blood sugar
-Reduces the risk of diabetes
-Rich of vital vitamins and minerals
-Increases blood flow to the brain and heart
-Contains anti-depressant agents
-Prevents heart disease
-Lowers cholesterol levels
-Improves one's moods
-Reduces stress

And its no wonder Dark Chocolate provides all these health benefits, as the cocoa bean is made up of so much goodness.  Please see below for more details- for me the 1% Sugar is absolutely amazing, and if you trying to keep your weight down you should really opt for Dark chocolate. Warning though: It can taste extremely bitter, but you will get used to it after a while. 😉😜
