I was lucky enough to receive these wipes and cotton pads
from Cherubs, as a press drop. And I
honestly could not wait to start using them.
Although I am really not a huge fan of using wipes like these, I think
these wipes really grew on me.

Wipes:
Cherubs Eco-Care Friendly Baby Wipes, is a non-fragranced,
well moistured wipe that will definitely keep you fresh and your baby clean and
comfy whenever a good wipe is needed. The wipes itself, are a bit hard for my
skin, as I tested it on my face, and it left me kind of red in some areas of my
face. However, I do love using it as a
cleansing wipe whenever I am on the go or after a good gym session. The wipes are squared in shape, and have a fine print to them, which causes the texture of the wipe to be rough.

Now these pads are a definite must have for any makeup
junkie. I absolutely love the texture
and also that the pads are non-fluffing, so no matter if you use them to remove
makeup or remove nail polish from your nails, they don’t leave a fluffy mess
behind. The one side of the Cotton Rounds is textured so its great to remove makeup and or cleanse your skin, as it serves as an exfoliator like pad. Whilst the other side of the cotton round is soft, and fluffy, but do note, its not the kind of cotton round which will end up fluffing all over the place, once its wet.

Why do you need these products?
Wipes:
Who does not need a wipe in a sticky situation? Like myself having a day out with my niece
who is 5 years old. Although she`s not a
messy 5 year old, she is just a child and slip up situations do happen, which
means I often need a wipe to clean her hands, or face or simply to wipe her
nose, or t-shirt. Also, for myself I
love having these handy in my room, as I
often need a quick wipe of my hands or when I tend to mess up my eyeliner, and
smudge my lipstick over my lip line, and these wipes go straight to work. And my partner loves to have wipes in his
car, as it’s an easy solution for a day out at the beach, etc.
Cotton Rounds:
These pads are non-fluffing and any lady who has removed
nail polish with usual cotton balls, know about the mess that follows, once
having a few rubs with a cotton ball.
However, these pads, absorb any liquid and goes straight to work,
without any mess. Also I love using it
with my facial toner, as it’s soft on my skin and works well with any
moisturisers and toners.
Wipes and Cotton Pads-Both of these products I would rate as
still being less recognisable by the South African Consumer compared to other
well established brands. I’ve only seen
these products in 2 larger grocery stores that I have been to recently and yes
it is much more affordable than some of its competitors. Wipes retails for
R32.99 and Cotton Pads R22.99 (pricecheck.co.za). The baby wipes, although it’s awesome to use,
comes in a pack of 72 none individually wrapped wipes. This means you have to carry around the
entire pack of wipes, which is rather big and heavy. Also the seal is not of good quality, as it
tends to wear out as its opened and closed over time, and this could lead to
the remaining wipes in the pack to dry out.
The cotton pads, are non-fluffing so it’s great for cosmetic use,
whether you are removing your makeup or nail polish or just applying your toner. The cotton rounds come in a pack of 80 which
means you won’t have to buy them every month, but at least every second month,
if you love them as much as I do! The rounds come in a drawstring pouch which
makes sealing the pouch rather easy and it’s convenient for the next time you
would need to use it. The wipes are
Alcohol, fragrance, paraben and Chlorine free, so it’s rather safe for your
face and body use and for the use of your baby.
Both the wipes and cotton rounds are 100% biodegradable and flushable,
which means you can flush them down the toilet and they won’t harm the
environment at all!

Would I recommend this product in the future?
Wipes: No, I would not be purchasing this product as it is way too harsh on my skin due to my psoriasis.
Cotton Rounds: I will definitely be purchasing this product in future. Its convenient, effective, affordable and an all round great multi-tasker. I could use it to apply my toner, to remove nail polish with nail polish remover.
