First impressions on these two products, is that since I've been natural for the past two years now, I am always careful when it comes to hair products, as I don't want any product to be harmful to my hair, and I always read the labels. Having read the product labels on the Long & Lasting oil sheen spray and triple oil rescue hairfood I felt comfortable enough to go on and give it a try. Products have been tested and used for the past two weeks and below are my thoughts on these products.
Triple Oil Rescue Hairfood:
This hair food is recommended to be used on ones hairline and also to nourish the scalp. Since I don't have any issues when it comes to my hairline, I opted to use it, after my hair has been dried and styled. Personally, with low porosity hair such as my own, often the product ends up sitting on the hair strands causing build-up and leaving your hair oily and in need of a good cleanse. With this hair food, I found that one should not use too much of it, just a dab, and for me what works is to rub it onto the palms of my hands, warming the hair food, then dabbing my hair. Once I am on third day hair, I go in and applied/massaged the hair food onto my scalp, leaving it to do its job and get to work in nourishing my scalp. I love the citrus scent of this product, as its different from most `coconut smelling` hair foods, which can get a bit overwhelming at times.

Likes:
-Helps with hairline and scalp nourishment
-Includes AnaGain, which helps to stimulate hair growth and lessens hair loss
-Contains Avocado, Olive and Jojoba oils, and has a fresh citrus smell to it
-Leaves hair soft, and nourished without causing any build up
-Affordable, and available at most retail outlets
-Works well on natural hair

Dislikes:
-Don't apply too much hair food, as it could cause build-up (especially on low porosity hair)
-Not really a fan of hairfood

My overall rating: I would definitely purchase this product and it gets an overall 3.5/5
Oil Sheen Spray -Shea Butter Infused:
Anyone who knows me, knows I love hair sprays of all kind of shapes, sizes, variants, uses. And what more could a natural haired lady love more, than a Shea Butter infused oil sheen hairspray. I found I could use this hairspray everyday, as its gentle enough to use on a daily basis. Again, don't overuse the product in quantity you apply, as too much oil sheen hair spray, could leave your hair oily and in need of a wash. This Oil sheen hair spray, has a pleasant fragrance to it, and again - gets my vote as it does not reek of coconut, which we as naturals witness way too much in other hair care products. 😊
If shinier hair is your goal, then use this Oil sheen hair spray. Again this product works well on natural hair, and I found it provides me with good results after a blowout and a roller set, so its an overall good product to use.
Likes:
-Leaves hair shinier and soft
-Works on heat styled hair, and roller set/dried hair
-Works well on natural non-chemically treated hair
-Good product size, so it will last you for a good amount of time
-Works well for dry, damaged hair
-Pleasant fragrance
-Contains shea butter (which is helpful for dandruff and many scalp problems)
-Reduced flaking
-Moisturised the scalp
-Continued use will lead to a healthier, shinier scalp/hair

Dislikes:
-Do not use on already oily hair as it could cause product build up

Yes, I would repurchase this product and it gets an overall 4.5/ 5 from me.
